The New Patient Interview.
Your visit opens with your dental history, your goals, and any past experiences that shaped how you feel about the dentist.
A clear look at your health.
We take a full set of photos and any x-rays that are indicated, then Dr. Hulver reviews everything with you on a screen, in plain language.
A thorough cleaning.
We do our best to complete your cleaning the same day; if more time is needed, we will schedule you with our hygienist, Evelyn.
A clear next step.
You will leave knowing where things stand and what Dr. Hulver recommends.

If it’s been a while since your last dental visit, you’re not alone, and you won’t be judged here.
Some of Dr. Hulver’s favorite patients are the ones who walk in nervous and leave feeling cared for.
Blankets, pillows, and oral sedation are available when needed. We’ll move at a pace that helps you feel comfortable, informed, and in control.
Insurance, payment,
and membership
Metropolitan Dental Centre is a fee-for-service practice, which means your care is planned around what you need rather than what a PPO will approve. We are not in-network with dental insurance, but we file claims on your behalf — many out-of-network plans still reimburse part of your care, so it is worth checking your benefits before your visit.

Every plan includes routine exams, needed x-rays, fluoride treatments, an emergency exam if needed, and 15% off most additional treatments. A one-time $149 lifetime activation fee applies and includes your first month of membership.

For patients ages 13+ who receive regular cleanings and do not have periodontal disease.

For patients who are in active periodontal maintenance after previous treatment for gum disease.

$77/month
For patients who need more frequent periodontal maintenance due to a history of gum disease.

What happens at my first dental appointment?
Your first visit is a 90-minute appointment with Dr. Hulver. You will talk through your history and goals, review photos and findings together, and leave with clear recommendations.
Do you accept new patients without insurance?
Absolutely. As a fee-for-service practice, we welcome patients with or without insurance and file out-of-network claims for those who have coverage.

Do you offer sedation for nervous patients?
Yes, oral sedation is available, and Dr. Hulver takes time to understand what makes you anxious so she can adjust the pace and approach.
